What's wrong with our universities?
"Education is our right not the privilege of the select elite." is the message that the JNU students are trying to convey through their protests.
Recently the JN University, in Delhi has increased it's fee. It is showing cruelness towards the poor children who actually want to study and improve the future of our nation. Students are thinking this way and are protesting against it.
This October the UAU (Uttarakhand Ayurved University) has, too, increased their fee three to four times than normal.
The BHU (Banaras Hindu University) has selected a faculty to teach Sanskrit. But some students don't want him simply because he is FEROZ KHAN. But most of the students are in his favour and have even entered the streets for him.
Jaha shanti hi shanti or padhai honi chahiye, wahan kranti hi kranti or ladayi ho rahi hai shor hi shor ho raha hai.
This is what's actually happening in our universities. This is what's actually happening to Education. To the future of our country. To the students.
Do you think there should be fights and protests for education? Students are leaving books, education, studies are entering the streets to protest and are being arrested. What do you think? Are their protests right? Or should they decrease the fees? Are those students right who say he shouldn't teach Sanskrit? Or are those (the larger number) who protest he should? Should we reduce the minister's special facilities or should we increase the students' fees? Should we waste money on useless communal matters or should we destroy the future of India? So many things are free in India then why isn't the future? Future is being slapped on the face, with everyone watching silently. How will India progress in these situations of our universities?
Kyuki jab padhega hi nahi India to kaise badhega India?
Will, wasting 70 years on religious matters, even when saying India is secular, develop India?
No, it won't, not with these things going around in the country. Not with lack of education. Not with wastage of time. Not with a bought media. Not with fights going on. Not with expensive education. Not with no one having the right to it. Not with students on roads, protesting instead of creating the future and studying. Not with this education system if ours. Not with no teaching opportunities for special identities.
When will this end in our universities? When will India think of developing? When will India stop fighting? When will India be a secular, united nation? When will the Indian education system change? When will India develop? When?
When and how? It'question for consideration. It's a question to be answered not to be silenced.
What do you think, are these children right in protesting? Should their fees be decreased? Should that professer not be allowed to teach Sanskrit?

How does that matter that a professor is Hindu or Muslim? Whether he or she can teach the subject well or not should be the criteria and not his religion. If Firoz Khan can teach Sanskrit and Rishi Sharma can teach Urdu, then let's just learn from them instead of protesting against them.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right! That's how our country will develop! That's what secularism is in our country.
