How is trash destroying our world. Part 2

How is trash destroying our world. Part 2.

All right. So your trash now already is in garbage truck. What's after that? What are happens after the truck is filled with your trash?

The garbage truck chokes and splutters and off it goes making the people around it smile and spreading it's beautiful fragrance. It roars away, I past the big general store and the corner's shop. It thunders past people and trees and animals and birds on the street. And then, it reaches its destination.

And wow... it looks so exotic and gorgeous, the destination. It's full of different bright colors. So colorful. So many different things. Diversed and secular. Immortal and elated plastic bags, single-use plasric, reusable trash, exquisite faces of trash. Heaps and loads of it, forming an enormous mountain.
It looks so... so beautiful and scenic .
Take a deep breath and let it out. Come into the reality. Yeah, you're right, it's a landfill. It's smelly, it's disgusting and full of rubbish. It's certainly not beautiful.
Now, let's get a look at the facts here:

•Urban India (about 377 million people generates 62 million tonnes of municipal solid waste each year, of this about 43 million tonnes (70%) is collected and 11.9 million (20%) is treated. About 31 million (50%)tonnes is dumped in a landfill.

It may or may not be shocking to you. There's more.

You may be thinking, Yeah, well, what's in that? It's not a bit shocking. And what's wrong with dumping trash in landfill?
Here's what is:

A major disadvantage of dumping trash in landfills is the potential tin pollute surrounding soil and groundwater with toxins. When trash decomposes, it releases methane and other greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change and also causes health problems to humans and animals.

That's what is wrong with dumping trash in landfills.
Oh, well isn't there an alternative?
