Delhi is sick

DELHI IS SICK
Delhi, the capital of India, the most pollutant state of India and we are exceedingly ashamed to say that it's in the list of top 10 most pollutant city in the world.
According to AQI (Air Quality Index) Delhi crossed the 500 mark on Friday morning.
Three of our Indian cities are in the list of top 10 most pollutant cities of the world. Delhi, Kolkata and Aamchi Mumbai. Inspite of this, the Arey forest was cut down in Mumbai and our government is busy making politics.
The Supreme Court asked the Delhi Pollution Control Committee to conduct random checks on three wheelers running on polluting fuels and to file a report on it.
Inspite of the inspiring Swedish girl and other climate activists there has been no inspiration on India whatsoever. While the Indian government, media and teens are just sitting there, staring into space, day dreaming, doing nothing about it. Are they? Teens are forwarding rumors, time wasting messages in WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and other social media apps. Millions of children have stopped going to schools in Delhi and the so-called media Of India is deliberately sitting and doing bidding of their particular party ignoring what's really going around in the world and India. The government- of course! them! They are only concerned on getting the thrones. But I ask you-all why get the throne if you won't look after you country itself?
When the capital cities are not safe, how do you suppose the others will be?
When both the Capitals of India are only on the high mode of pollution what do you expect from the other cities?
And this should be straightened to all the citizens of our country- criticism doesn't work in such problems. Speeches of political leaders and protests won't work either. Individuals are so lazy that even for going to the gym, they use bikes and cars. We should drop out our laziness. Walk. Walk if the destination is near. Walk. Use public transport if the destination is far. We can really contribute to our environment if we do so. Plant trees. Ban the companies causing too much of pollution.  We shouldn't always thrust the faults at our government and the media. We could always contribute. And if we don't, it's not fair. Neither for us, for the future generations, our country and our dear dear world. It's not.

  1. Absolutely! Every citizen needs to understand it's not just government's job, we also need to take efforts to make things better for us and for future generations.
